Ham at the Hagerstown Aviation Museum

The ARA is establishing a partnership with the Hagerstown Aviation Museum (HAM) to support our mutual goals of promoting Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) education in the greater Washington County area.  the ARA has supported the HAM's Wings & Wheels event the past few years and will kick-off our STEM-related initiatives with an information table at the museum on February 8th, 2025.  All local amateur radio operators are encourage to visit!  Our hope is this partnership with the HAM will eventually lead to permanent amateur radio related exhibits at the museum including a functional station.  For more information or if you'd like to participate in our HAM activities, please contact Joe Maguire (WA1ZZQ@arrl.net).  For more information about the HAM, check-out their web-site at:  https://www.hagerstownaviationmuseum.org/
