Wings & Wheels

Wings & Wheels (W&W) is a classic car and airshow held the second Saturday of September at the Hagerstown Aviation Museum.  The Antietam Radio Association participates by setting up an HF station and information table.  W&W is a great way to educate the general public about Ham Radio and increase interest in our hobby!  If you'd like to participate in future W&W events, contact Joe Maguire (WA1ZZQ@arrl.net).  More information about Wings & Wheels is also available on the Hagerstown Aviation Museum web-site at: https://www.hagerstownaviationmuseum.org/wings-wheels/

STEAMFest

STEAMFest is an annual science and arts event sponsored by Hagerstown Community College in early November each year.  The ARA participates by setting up amateur radio demonstrations and an information table.  STEAMFest is a great opportunity to introduce amateur radio to a young audience!  Steve (WA8EIH) and Dave's (N3DRL) demonstrations of Morse code was a huge hit!  More information can be found on the HCC STEAMFest web page at https://www.hagerstowncc.edu/steam.
