CVARC Hamfest

July 7, 2025 // Immediately following adjournment of the most recent ARA meeting (July 1), a mutual member of both clubs announced that there is a likelihood that the hamfest may not take place at the end of this month as expected.

This mission of this article is to help pass on information that a mutual member of both clubs shared directly after the last ARA meeting -- the ARA website committee decided it would be in everyone's best interest to post the information so that fellow hams who were not in attendance would be aware; especially those who are more removed than the Chambersurg, Greencastle, or Hagerstown area. 

Before writing this post, we reviewed the CVARC website for hamfest information, but did not see any recent updates--what we did find was https://www.w3ach.com/hamfest which was a post from the 2024 hamfest, and an entry in the W3ACH Calendar of Events (https://www.w3ach.com/club-information/events-calendar), that showed "W3ACH Hamfest 2025" followed by a question mark, as shown below:

We strongly encourage anyone who wishes to participate in this fine event to contact the CVARC  to ensure they are planning to hold it, and to verify the location.
