Winter Field Day 2026 update 1

UPDATE # 1

During the January business meeting, Joe laid out the most recent plans on how the ARA plans to execute Winter Field Day 2026. As a reminder:

WFD begins
- 1600 UTC Saturday January 24th (11AM local), and ends at
- 21:59 UTC Sunday January 25th (4:59 PM local)
The ARA will begin our setup Friday, January 23 at 1PM
We expect the EmComm trailer to arrive at or around 1:30 PM
We plan to last minute setup Saturday morning at 9.
We are planning to network the two stations within the EmComm trailer to help reduce dups, and to help with reporting
We will use N3FJP logging software
Tim Dean, KC3OCQ is bringing his light tower
