During the last ARA meeting, the website committee received permission to add a new domain for the Antietam Radio Association, antietamradio.org. They also received approval to move the site – slowly but surely – from the domain of W3CWC.ORG to ANTIETAMRADIO.ORG.

Don’t worry, however; W3CWC.ORG will remain and be updated as usual while the new site is being designed and constructed.

Once the new site is completely ready, we will reconfigure W3CWC.ORG to take you to the new site, too. Although the newly designed site is pretty welll up to speed, we want to take care of a few odds and ends, such as moving the posts over, pictures, and anything else that we may have forgotten about.

With that being said, the new site is ready, willing and able to accept visitors now – the new site is located at www.antietamradio.org – let’s just call it a soft opening.

Beginning on October 1, we plan to mirror any NEW posts on both the new and old site, which will include this article.

We are hopeful that the new domain will be a positive asset for the club in the future, as well as to help with name recognition for people unfamiliar with exactly what a call sign is.
